MODA CASUAL – La leggiadra cavalla con l’eterea mantella svolazzante in questa splendida immagine del talentuoso fotografo Marc da Cunha Lopes mi ricorda l’affascinante attrice Marilyn Monroe nel suo abito bianco con gonna plissettata nel film “Quando la moglie è in vacanza”.
Il cavallo è un animale bellissimo, dai movimenti flessuosi ed eleganti e ha sempre quell’atteggiamento da “prima donna”.

This dainty mare with her flowing cape, in a splendid image captured by the talented photographer Marc da Cunha Lopes, reminds us somehow of the actress Marilyn Monroe in that famous promotional shot from the film “Seven Year Itch” where a blast of air from a subway grate lifts her white pleated skirt.
Thoroughbred horses are wonderful animals, with a fluid, elegant way of moving and – often – a certain “prima donna” air about them.

German stylist Hildegard Bergbauer, who ordinarily specializes in the creation of traditional Bavarian “Dirndl” dresses for women, has recently branched out to other mammalian species: cats, dogs … and even horses! The bounding cat in the foreground however seems to want no part in the matter.
