CARTONI – La vignetta di Mark Parisi tratta dal suo sito off the mark, illustra ancora una volta l’indecisione maschile di fronte all’altro sesso. C’è il cagnolone di fronte alla sua bella che pensa: “Ecco il momento più difficile della serata… Le stringo la zampa o le dò l’annusata della buona notte?”.
Vi siete mai chiesti se gli animali soffrono di indecisioni nel comportamento quando si trovano davanti a un componente dell’altro sesso? Se soffrono di timidezza quando esprimono il loro amore o comunque il sentimento di attrazione per la cucciolotta di turno o quella per la vita? O pensate che tutti gli animali si comportano come “conigli”?
Parisi è un vignettista americano di origine italiana, diventato famoso con i suoi cartoni “off the mark”, nominati per due volte come “Best Newspaper Comic Panel” dalla National Cartoonists Society.

The dilemma faced by the male in the cartoon above by Mark Parisi is of course much more about human fragility than it is about the indecision of dogs. It comes, by the way, from Parisi’s site, off the mark, and as soon as you’re done reading here you should go take a look.
The panel though does raise an interesting question. Do boy dogs ever suffer the uncertainty and indecision about “making their move” that is so characteristic of human male animals? There can’t be any doubt that they have a much more “natural” attitude about such things, but what passes through a Chihuahua’s mind as he admires a beautiful poodle who will never be his?
Mark Parisi is an American cartoonist of Italian origin who has become well-known for his “off the mark” feature, twice nominated “Best Newspaper Comic Panel” by the National Cartoonists Society.

CARTONI ANIMATI – Qui sopra, uno degli ultimi fumetti sui gatti del fumettista webcomico canadese Doug Savage. Doug disegna e scrive “Savage Chickens”, una delle vignette comiche più divertenti e brillanti in circolazione sul web, disegnata sui suoi post-it di colore giallo. Savage Chickens è un mondo popolato di galline – appunto – capoufficio-robot, zombie e alieni, ma nei suoi cartoni vi è anche un cast di personaggi alternativi come: il gatto, Timmy l’insipido tofu e mutanti vari.

Here above, a recent strip about cats from the wonderfully clever online Canadian cartoonist Doug Savage. His work, based on an unusual “Post-It” format, can be seen on his site “Savage Chickens”. The Savage Chicken world is populated by – as the name suggests – chickens, but also by robot bosses, zombies, aliens, Tommy the hairy tofu, various mutants and, of course, cats. It’s worth a look.
